by Tennessee baseball was the first of six teams on Sunday to punch their ticket to the Super Regionals in next weekend’s NCAA Baseball Tournament.
As of Sunday 10:30 PM there are no set matchups for next week’s game. The Vols play Southern Miss of Penn. The Golden Eagles need to win two games in two days against the Quakers to advance, while Penn only needs one win over USM to advance.
South Carolina is the only other SEC team to secure its Super Regional spot as of Sunday night, though Kentucky, Alabama, LSU, Texas A&M, Florida and Arkansas are still alive.
Here are the Super Regional matchups and what’s left to play on Sunday and Monday.
Alabama/Boston College winner at No. 1 national seed Wake Forest

Wake Forest went 3-0 in the Winston-Salem Regional to advance. The Demon Deacons will host the Super Regional.

Alabama and Boston College still live in the Tuscaloosa Regional. BC must win against Alabama twice to advance.

Texas vs. No. 8 national seed Stanford/Texas A&M winner

Texas went 3-0 in the Coral Gables Regional to advance.

Stanford and Texas A&M still live in the Stanford Regional. The Cardinal must win twice against A&M to advance. Stanford will host the Super Regional if it goes ahead. The NCAA will decide who hosts a Texas-Texas A&M Super Regional.
No. 12 national seed Kentucky/Indiana winner vs. Baton Rouge Regional winner

Kentucky and Indiana will play Monday in a Lexington Regional Final where the winner takes it all.

LSU advanced to the Baton Rouge regional finals with Sunday’s victory and has two games to win one. Either Oregon State or Sam Houston State will advance to the Regional Finals, needing to win twice against LSU. If LSU goes ahead, it will host next weekend.

TCU advanced to the Fayetteville Regional Finals with Sunday’s win and has two games to win one. Arkansas or Santa Clara will advance to the Regional Finals and must beat TCU twice. If Arkansas continues, it will host next weekend. If TCU or Santa Clara go ahead, the state of Indiana will host next weekend.
