The ’60 points in an NBA game’ quiz

The Minnesota Timberwolves have made the postseason just once in the last 18 seasons but are poised to at least make the Western Conference play-in this year. A big reason why is the play of three-time All-Star Karl-Anthony Towns. Averaging just under 25 points and 10 boards a game, Towns is willing the Wolves into the postseason, as witnessed by his career-high 60 point performance against the San Antonio Spurs on Monday night. Towns had 32 points in the third quarter alone, tied for the fifth-most all time. The Wolves rarely give their fans reason to smile, but with Towns, Anthony Edwards and D’Angelo Russell all balling out this season, things are starting to look up in Minneapolis.

Which brings us to today’s quiz of the day. Throughout NBA history, only 31 players have scored 60 or more points during an NBA regular-season game, a list that now includes Towns. So with that in mind, how many of the 31 can you name in five minutes?

Good luck!
