During part 2 of Vanderpump RulesDuring the season 10 reunion, Raquel Leviss confessed that she was “ashamed” of her “very deceitful” affair with Tom Sandoval, while being accused of “blaming” their costar Ariana Madix.
On Wednesday’s episode, fans finally got to see the 28-year-old pageant queen’s one-on-one pre-interview with Andy Cohen.
She told the Watch what’s happening live host, 54, on the beginning of her fling with the co-owner of Schwartz & Sandy: “It started to get more romantic after this girl’s journey I took.”
When asked if Sandoval, 40, “made you feel special,” Raquel said, “Yes, he made me feel heard and seen. And those are feelings I may never have really felt the way he once saw.
“How did you imagine this was going to play out with Ariana, did you think there was a way forward for you two?” Andy wondered.
Raquel admitted, “I think I was living in my own little reality hoping it would work out.”

In discussing the “many signs” Ariana ignored when it came to Sandoval and Raquel’s secret fling, which ultimately ended the couple’s nine-year relationship, Andy commented, “It’s interesting because Tom said to me that he felt…” She may know but somehow she denies this.
“It seemed so,” Raquel claimed. “She never insisted. She never confronted me about it. From what I know of what Tom told me, she didn’t question him too much about it, just believed what he would tell her.
“That sounds like you’re blaming her,” Andy said.
“At the time, I think that was my mindset,” she explained. “And I know now that she really wanted to know, and it was very deceptive. I’m very embarrassed about it.”

Andy then asked how the conversation between Raquel and Ariana, 36, was after Sandoval’s ex found out about the affair.
“It was a lot of pain I felt from her,” Raquel recalled. “She begged me to tell her when it all happened. And at this point we were going to tell her, we just wanted to get our story straight, basically because he felt like it would hurt her if she knew how long this has been going on.
Andy interjected, “So by setting your story straight, maybe you’d shorten how long it’s been going on or something?” Raquel acknowledged that was the plan.
“I told her the truth,” Raquel continued. “And she said, ‘Thanks for telling me, because Tom would never have told me the truth.'”

When the cast took their lunch break, Sandoval visited Raquel in the trailer where she watched the morning, as she was required by law to keep at least 100 feet away from costar Scheana Shay in light of an ongoing restraining order (which was dismissed days after filming).
“They’re basically making you and me into pathological liars,” Sandoval said.
“I can see that,” Raquel said. “Even though we know we’re not. We have not lied about anything other than this affair.”
Over lunch, Ariana looked into her crystal ball and predicted about her former ex-boyfriend, “When Little Miss Homewrecker starts making real demands on a relationship, she’s not going to be so cool and chill, baby.”
She added, “Just like I wasn’t.”

Indeed, back in the trailer, Raquel used to challenge Sandoval by telling him, “I don’t like the way it comes across about you boys’ intimacy.”
She continued, “Obviously I only know what you tell me. But looking at what you’ve recorded now, it looks like you had a close relationship.”
Shaking his head, Sandoval defended himself by throwing shade at his ex. “Ariana always kinda talked to me all the time,” he began, citing a more recent example of Ariana telling him what not to wear, despite complimenting his sense of style.
“I feel like she felt like you wanted to make the relationship work because you never broke up with her,” Raquel said. Sandoval had to give her that point and agreed: “Yes, in a way.”
After Sandova
l assured Raquel that he was “happy” that she was at the reunion, Raquel said, “It just sucks because like my whole character is on the line right now.”
She continued, “I went through a transitional phase in my life this summer. And I think the pendulum has swung a little too far the other way. And this is my wake up call.”
Sandoval comforts her and affirms, “I believe in you.”
“I know you do,” she said.

Sandoval then asked the producers, “Can I just chat with her without having that? [cameras]?” Raquel agreed it would be “fun,” but a producer denied them: “Cameras on if anyone is together all the time.”
Sandoval got confused and told the producer, “Dude, I just want to talk to her.” We just need breath.”
As the producer kept trying to tell him not to, Sandoval threatened, “Dude, no, man. I’m going f—ing flip to get the f— out of here. I’m not joking.”

“If you need a break from filming, that’s fine,” said the producer, and Sandoval yelled, “I need a break from filming!”
“Okay, then go get some lunch,” the producer said — but Sandoval kept screaming, “Stop filming me!”
“I want to talk to her. I don’t want a camera in my goddamn face. You don’t understand,” he claimed. “I don’t feel relaxed. [Raquel] also not. We have to be careful what we say. I do not want that. I am currently in a very delicate position.”
“Just take a beat,” the producer told him.
Sandoval fired back,”This has to take a beating.”

Back at the studio, while discussing the fact that Raquel dismissed the lawsuit against Scheana, Sandoval insisted that he and Raquel “didn’t do this maliciously”, referring to the affair as the resulting months of cheating and lashing out.
But Ariana didn’t buy that. “Watch what you say, because it’s evil,” she snapped.
“It’s malicious, but I didn’t do it with malicious intent,” Sandoval claimed.
“Well, what was the point since you already whistled at someone for this,” she fired back. “You are disgusting. Go ahead and be the real you.”
Referring to how furious she was, Sandoval then turned it around to Ariana: “This is the one I’ve been dealing with throughout our relationship.
“I feel good about who I am,” she stated. “Unashamedly, you deserve to be now,” he said. She agreed: “Exactly, I deserve it.”
“But you were always unapologetic throughout our relationship. You never said you were sorry,” he claimed before Ariana cut him off by telling him to “shut up.”
