What’s Rightly so: City Primeval about?
The series reboot is inspired by Elmore Leonard’s novel City Primeval: Afternoon in Detroit – However, Leonard’s book didn’t really feature one of his most popular leading men. The series has adapted the novel to include our man Raylan.
The limited series follows Raylan after he moves to Miami, where trouble continues to haunt him and his family.
Who will come back for Rightly so: City Primeval?
Timothy Olyphant reprises his lead role Rightly so: City Primeval alongside his real-life daughter Vivian Olyphant who plays Willa, Givens’ on-screen daughter.
Also returning for the series reunion are showrunners, writers and EPs. However, much of the cast of the new series will be new faces.
“You’re not going to recognize anybody — the world, the relationships,” Olyphant told me Weekly entertainment. “I just don’t think you’re going to see what’s to come. On the one hand, I really missed the cast from the original series, and on the other, I was so impressed and honored to work with the cast on this one . An.”
