The Goodwood Festival of Speed is a celebration of all things motoring and in recent years there has been an influx of car manufacturers looking to flex their muscles by showing off fantastic concept cars or sending their latest sports cars onto the track. This year saw a huge amount of exciting announcements, from modern recreations of classic race cars to limited edition supercars and several high-performance electric vehicles.

Aim EV Sport 01
Made by a Japanese motorsports engineering company, this 483-horsepower rear-wheel drive electric coupe weighs 3150 pounds and features a slick, retro-tinted design penned by Nissan’s former global styling boss, Shiro Nakamura. It was originally created as a marketing tool, but Aim is now considering a limited production run.

Aston Martin Courage
Aston Martin is preparing to launch an electric car in 2025, but first it has come up with the limited-edition Valour, complete with a 705bhp twin-turbocharged V-12 engine and six-speed manual transmission. The styling borrows heavily from the one-off 2021 Victor, with a butch muscle-car vibe similar to the 1980s V8 Vantage.

Bentley Speed Six Continued Series
The legendary Speed Six, which won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1929 and 1930, has been revived and Bentley is planning 12 new Speed Six Continuation Series units costing approximately $2 million. Bentley used engineering sketches from the late 1920s, as well as a Speed Six from his collection, to create the new versions, with power coming from a 6.6-liter straight-six producing 205 horsepower. The new-old car is already sold out.
Caterham Project V
The Project V represents a new path for Caterham, a supplier of lightweight, bare-bones sports cars. The electric coupe has a 268 hp motor on the rear axle and a battery of 55.0 kWh with a range of 400 kilometers. Notably, Caterham says it has kept weight down to just 2623 pounds and plans to put the devious two-door into production by 2026.

Ferrari KC23
This one-off Ferrari has an unusual design, based on the futuristic Vision Gran Turismo concept with smooth surfaces and a chiseled front. On the underside, the KC23 is based on a 488 GT3 race car, augmented by a twin-turbocharged V-8 producing around 600 horsepower. The lucky owner is a Ferrari collector and probably spent millions of dollars on this special project.

Ford Mustang Mach-E Rally
Ford didn’t give many details about this modified Mach-E, but did confirm that the off-road-oriented EV is going into production. The photos show firmer tyres, fog lights integrated into the grille trim and a rear spoiler reminiscent of the Focus RS. Orders will open in the US this fall, so more details should be coming soon.

Hyundai Ioniq 5N
The biggest reveal at Goodwood, believe it or not, was a Hyundai, with the Korean automaker unveiling the hot version of its stylish Ioniq 5. The N variant produces 641 hp and should hit 100 km/h in the low three second range. The Ioniq 5 N also offers different sound profiles – one of which mimics the Elantra N’s 2.0-liter inline-four – and simulated shifting to make the driving experience more engaging.

INEOS Grenadier Quartermaster
INEOS followed up its Grenadier 4×4 SUV with a pickup version, the Quartermaster, although availability in the US has not yet been confirmed. Powered by the same BMW turbocharged 3.0-liter straight-six as the SUV, the Quartermaster has a bed similar in size to that of a Chevy Colorado. INEOS also used Goodwood to demonstrate a Grenadier hydrogen fuel cell prototype, which uses the BMW iX5 powertrain.

Lamborghini SC63
Lamborghini unveiled its challenger for the 24 Hours of Le Mans and Rolex 24 at Daytona, with the SC63 set to race next year in the World Endurance Championship and IMSA series. Powered by a new twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter V-8 connected to a hybrid system, the SC63 will compete against entries from Ferrari, Porsche, Cadillac and Acura. Peak power will be limited by regulations to 670PS, and the sharply styled race car closely follows the brand’s dramatic, angular road cars.
Maserati Ghibli 334 Ultima and Levante V8 Ultima
These two special editions represent the last V-8 powered Maseratis as the company transitions to electric cars. Both Ultimas use the twin-turbo 3.8-liter engine, with the Ghibli modified slightly to increase top speed to 208 mph. Both models carry special badging and unique paint options.

MG EX4 Concept
At Goodwood, MG released a four-wheel drive 429bhp version of its MG4 hatch called the XPower alongside a wild concept version called the EX4, said to be inspired by the beefy Metro 6R4 rally car of the 1980s. The EX4 carries extreme aerodynamics – with a sharp front splitter and towering rear wing – and uses the same XPower setup underneath.
McMurtry Speirling Pure
A year after setting a record time at the Goodwood Hill Climb, the British start-up unveiled the Spéirling Pure, with 100 units of the track car planned for production. The Spéirling Pure weighs less than 2205 pounds and still includes the unorthodox, downforce-producing fans behind the cockpit.

Porsche Vision 357 Speedster
Porsche chopped the top of its Vision 357 concep
t to create this Speedster, which uses the chassis of a 718 GT4 Clubsport. Instead of the GT4 RS powertrain in the coupe, the Speedster is equipped with electric motors from the 718 GT4 ePerformance, delivering up to 1073 hp.

Pininfarina Battista Edizione Nino Farina
This special edition of Pininfarina’s electric hypercar honors Nino Farina, grandson of the company’s founder and winner of the first Formula 1 championship in 1950. Each car in the five-car run receives a Rosso Nino paint job featuring black, white and blue accents and rides on golden wheels.

Singer DLS Turbo Study
Classic Porsche specialists Singer showed their latest creation, the DLS Turbo. Based on the 964-generation Porsche 911, the DLS Turbo is intended to mimic the 1970s 934/5 race cars and incorporate a twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter six-cylinder with approximately 700 horsepower. The wider body is made of carbon fiber and the DLS Turbo has a manual transmission.

Tamiya WildOne Max
This electric dune buggy may look familiar as it is a full version of the Tamiya Wild One RC car released in 1985. Built by The Little Car Company in England, the Wild One will be street legal in Europe and produce 37 horsepower. beyond 124 miles range.
